As one of Australia’s few dual-sector institutions, Victoria University (VU) delivers both higher education and vocational education (TAFE) programs. As one of Australia’s largest providers of overseas degree programs, it pioneered transnational education partnerships in Asia over two decades ago. Victoria University’s alumni network is one of its most valuable assets. To date, VU boasts over 162,500 alumni worldwide, forming an extensive global community. All graduates of Victoria University automatically become lifetime members of the VU Alumni Association. The Alumni Association collaborates closely with the Alumni Relations team to help graduates maintain connections with their alma mater and the global alumni community. Alumni can continue to access university benefits and resources by participating in events, subscribing to the alumni magazine, and engaging through social media.
During the 2023-24 fiscal year, nearly 3,500 alumni donated over $3 million AUD to support university development and scholarship programs. During the same period, over 5,300 alumni attended 54 events hosted by the university, demonstrating the strong cohesion of the alumni community.
