Real Student Experience: Discovering Myself in the City of Theater
My experience at Southern Oregon University has been fantastic. Waking up every day to the beautiful views of the Ashland hills is truly refreshing. It’s a beautiful campus with a wide variety of extracurricular activities. My favorites are the scavenger hunts organized by Engage and Queer Karaoke, which helped me make so many friends. The courses cover a wide range of subjects, the topics are engaging, and the professors are very attentive to students. However, I wish the campus dining options were better. Of course, given the limited budget, there’s only so much they can do. But that’s probably my only complaint. Other than that, I highly recommend Southern Oregon University.
