Seven Faculties: A Comprehensive Academic Structure from the Inside Out
UMH is committed to the balanced development of the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, comprising seven faculties—the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Fine Arts, the Faculty of Experimental Sciences, the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences in Elche, the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences in Oliva, and the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences—as well as the Polytechnic Schools in Elche and Oliva. Since its inception, the university has actively forged close academic ties with institutions worldwide. As a founding member of the European Alliance for Brain and Technology Universities, UMH regularly conducts doctoral student exchange programs with the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and shares teaching and research strategies. Employment Rates Exceed the Spanish Average: Up to 90% Employment Rate for Master’s in Human Resources
UMH graduates demonstrate strong competitiveness in the Spanish labor market. According to the university’s first graduate employment report, the employment rate for UMH graduates exceeds the average for Spanish public universities. Taking the Master’s in Human Resources Management as an example, the program’s overall employment rate reaches 90%. Since companies across all industries require human resources professionals, employment opportunities are extensive, and students can also secure internships with industry partners during their studies. The university has accumulated over 59,000 student internship opportunities in recent years, with more than 157,000 hours of student internship time logged during the 2025–2026 academic year alone. In recent years, hundreds of partner companies have provided hundreds of internship positions annually for UMH students, ensuring a robust outlook for graduates with high salaries and high employment rates.
