Seven Faculties: A Comprehensive Academic Structure from the Inside Out

UMH is committed to the balanced development of the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, comprising seven faculties—the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Fine Arts, the Faculty of Experimental Sciences, the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences in Elche, the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences in Oliva, and the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences—as well as the Polytechnic Schools in Elche and Oliva. The faculties share the regional industrial ecosystem and cross-campus laboratory resources, providing students with a rich platform for practical experience. As one of Spain’s youngest public universities, UMH has, since its inception, aimed to “provide high-quality teaching and research activities for society,” serving as a vital hub connecting industrial innovation and academic research in the Valencian Community.

Career Prospects with a Canadian Diploma

A Canadian diploma is truly a “golden key” to unlocking vast opportunities. Graduates not only benefit from world-class educational quality but are also highly competitive in the job market, with an employment rate of 88.6% for international students within three years of graduation—nearly on par with local students (91%). Salary returns are equally substantial, with undergraduate graduates earning an average annual salary of approximately $53,100 CAD (about 290,000–320,000 RMB), and salaries are even higher in popular fields such as computer science.

Founding Member of the European Alliance for Neuroscience: A Global Academic Network

With a foundation in regional collaboration, UMH has fully integrated its international network into its core strategy. Since its inception, the university has actively forged close academic ties with institutions worldwide. As a founding member of the European Alliance for Brain and Technology Universities, UMH regularly conducts doctoral student exchange programs with the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and shares teaching and research strategies. In May 2025, UMH hosted its fifth International Faculty Week, with 44 international guests from 34 universities across 22 countries participating in cross-cultural dialogues, making “internationalization” a defining feature of campus life. UMH also maintains year-round Erasmus+ mobility agreements with seven universities in countries such as Colombia, facilitating two-way exchanges of faculty and students.

Employment Rates Exceed the Spanish Average: Up to 90% Employment Rate for Master’s in Human Resources

UMH graduates demonstrate strong competitiveness in the Spanish labor market. According to the university’s first graduate employment report, the employment rate for UMH graduates exceeds the average for Spanish public universities. Taking the Master’s in Human Resources Management as an example, the program’s overall employment rate reaches 90%. Since companies across all industries require human resources professionals, employment opportunities are extensive, and students can also secure internships with industry partners during their studies. The university has accumulated over 59,000 student internship opportunities in recent years, with more than 157,000 hours of student internship time logged during the 2025–2026 academic year alone. In recent years, hundreds of partner companies have provided hundreds of internship positions annually for UMH students, ensuring a robust outlook for graduates with high salaries and high employment rates.
